At the beginning of the day, Midhun Reddy was grilled by a special investigation team (SIT) – probed alleged fraud with alcohol – for several hours and was arrested around 19:30 in Vijayawada.

PV Midhun Reddy is a current member of Parliament in the 16th Lok Sabha and 17.
Reddy arrived in Vijayawady on Thursday to attend the probe and his questioning comes as a result of the arrest of other accused personal-dhanunjay reddy, Krishna Mohan Reddy and Balaji Govindappa.

“I am convinced that justice prevails and that the judiciary will act fairly. His decision to participate in the investigation shows his determination to prove his innocence and his respect for the rule of law,” PTI Reddy said.
