Mr. Kanthapuam’s claim was reportedly confirmed by Sarhan Shamsan Al Wiswabi, Yemeni activist and spokesman for the justice Action Council of Talal Mahdi in Yemen, through Monday’s Facebook post.

In his post, Mr. Wiswabi argued that due to the strong intervention of religious scientists, the death penalty was rebellion. He said it would now be released from prison or to life prison for Nimisha Priya.
