
The Special Court of Nia in Mumbai on Thursday on Thursday liberated all the seven accused in the Malegaon Blast case of 2008 and said that the prosecution could not prove accusations of a reasonable doubt.
Seven accused with the case are former deputy Sadhvi Pragyyya, Major (Retrotry) Ramesh Upepphyay, Sudhakar Chaturvedi, Ajay Rahirkar, Sudhankar Dhar Dwivedi (Shankaracharya) and Samer Kulkarni.
“All bonds accused of bail are canceled and warranty is released,” said the Special Court NIA.
The court also ordered the government of Maharashtra to provide compensation – £2 lakh of each family killed and £50,000 people injured in the incident.
September 29, 2008, six people were killed and 95 others were injured when the explosive device chained to the motorcycle exploded near the mosque in Bhikk Chowk from Malegaon City. Originally, 11 people were charged in this case; However, the Court eventually created accusations against only seven, including former MP Sadhvi Pragya.

“The prosecution showed that there was an explosion in Malegaon, but could not prove that the bomb was placed in this motorcycle,” said Judge Abhay Lohati.
The Court also stated that he noticed that some medical certificates were also manipulated. “The court concluded that injured people were not 101, but only 95 and some medical certificates were manipulated,” he said.
“There is no evidence of the storage or assembly of explosives in the Prasad Purohit residence, which was accused in the case of further,” he said.
“No sketch of the place was carried out by a investigation officer in Panchnam. No data on fingerprints, landfills or anything else were collected from the place. The samples were contaminated, so the reports cannot be convincing and relying,” the court said.
The court examined 323 witnesses of prosecution and eight witnesses of defense before expressed the judgment. All seven people were exempt from all accusations under the Act on Unlawful Activities (Prevention), the Act on Weapons and other accusations.
