
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) Court liberated all seven accused in the 2008 Blast Bomb case on Thursday. The case concerns the explosion that took place in Malegaon in Nashik September 29, 2008.
In the case of 2018, the court overcame 19 April 2025 and the case was reserved for the judgment.

The NIA court, which announced the judgment on Thursday, said the prosecution showed that there was an explosion in Malegaon, but did not prove that the bomb was placed in a motorcycle.

These accusations were liberated by a special court of NIA after almost 17 years after the explosion was torn by the communally sensitive city of Malegaon Throguh Maharashtra. According to PTI, up to six people were killed and more than 100 remained injured.
It was reported that the explosive facility strapped to the motorcycle, left near the mosque in the city, located about 200 km from Bombai, September 29, 2008.
The explosion took place during the Holy Moon of Ramzan, just before the Navratri festival, Nia pointed out that it claimed that the accused was to strike terror in a part of the Muslim community.
The court produced charges against seven accused.
The accusation contained UAPA 16 (committing the terrorist law) and 18 (plot for committing the terrorist law) and various sections of the IPC, including 120 (B) (criminal plot), 302 (murder), 307 (attempt to murder), 324 (voluntarily causing injury) and 153 (a). (A) (promotion between two religious groups).
During the trial, 323 witnesses submitted the prosecution of 323, 37 became hostile.
