What is Malegaon Blast 2008?
On September 29, 2008, the motorcycle was equipped with an explosive device fired near the Malegaon mosque, a city located about 200 km from the Bombai in the northern Mahari, leading to six deaths and injuries of more than 100 people.
In the course of the court proceedings, 323 witnesses submitted the prosecution, 34 of which were hostile.
Among those who are currently in court include Lt Col Prazad Purohit, leader of BJP Pragya Thakur, Major Ramesh UpipPyay, Sudhakar Dwivedi, Sudhakar Chaturvedi, Ajay Rahirkar and Samer Bulkaři. They are charged according to the Indian Criminal Code (IPC) and the Act on illegal activities (prevention) (UAPA).
The survey was originally carried out by the counter -terrorist team Maharashtra (ATS) before the NIA handover in 2011.
In 2016, NIA filed a indictment in which BJP Pragy Thakur’s leader was cleaned and three other accused, namely Shyam Sahu, Poe Takalki and Shivnarayan Kalsangra, and no evidence was found and recommended them.

On 30 October 2018, the Special Court framed the accusation against seven accused under the strict unlawful Act on the prevention of activities (UAPA) and the Indian Criminal Code (IPC).
The accusations include sections 16 (terrorist act) and 18 (conspiracy for committing a terrorist act) of UAP and § 120 (a). (B) (criminal plot), 302 (murder), 307 (attempted murder), 324 (voluntarily causing injury) and 153 (a). (A) (Supporting involvement between religious groups) from IPC.
