Justice N. Senthilkuhar from the Madras High Court said on Monday (October 6, 2025) that he decided to ignore the trolling of the social media, which he was exposed to after “strong convictions” for the way actor C. Joseph Vijay’s Tamilaga Kazhagam (TVK) responded to the party in September 27.
The judge inspected the subject during the hearing of a civil lawsuit filed by the popular chef and film actor Madhampamatta T. Rangaraj to limit the costume designer Joy Cridilda in any form of media to make false, harmful and slander statements in any form.
When the higher advisor Srinath Sridevan argued about the damage caused to his client because of the “slander” statement of Mrs. Cridildaa on the social media, the judge said, “The leader, please tell me who is saved on social media these days.
In the oblique reference to him and his family members, he was hard to troll after his verdict 3. October formed a special investigation team (SIT) to probate the tragedy of Karur, which led to a loss of 41 innocent lives, Judge Senthilkuar asked, “You want to say?”
He continued in the state: “Just because others have a different perspective, our family members are drawn, the attraction of the past history and the colors of the judges begin to paint. These things happen, but why should we take a serious remark about all these things?
When Mr. Sridevan, with the assistance of the defense attorney of Vijayan Subramanian, said that not every individual would have the mental power to ignore such an assassination in the nature of public forums, the judge replied, “If you gain fame and achieve a certain state in society, these things must happen.”
Later, the judge ordered the announcement of Mrs. Cridildaa and asked her head advisor S. Prabakaran to make sure that the 22nd October was filed.
At the end of the hearing, Mr. Prabakaran, also the Vice -Chairman of the Indian Bar Association, also said that the judge was fully supported by the judge and did not have to trolling to heart. The judge replied that it was exactly what he had said all the time.
