
A student of the IX class in Kerala’s Kollam tested positively on the H1N1 fever (pig flu), and healthcare professionals confirmed the Hindu. According to officials, three other students from the same class show symptoms of the disease and are currently undergoing treatment. Their test results are expected.
Students reportedly developed a fever 13 July, after which medical tests were performed. In response to a suspicious focus with the health authorities, more students from school decided to check.

Dr. Sanjeev Kapoor, Program Clinical Director-Internal Medicine, Marengo Asia Hospital Faridabad, says that the H1N1 virus (pig flu) can affect people of all age groups: older people, adults, adolescents and even children.

Often wash your hands with soap and water, stay inside, if you do not feel good and refrain from touching your eyes, mouth or nose.

Children and older people (extremes of age), immunocompromised patients or people with any type of systematic disease, such as diabetes, kidney or chronic lung diseases are exposed to a high risk of serious complications, said Dr. Sanjeev Kapoor.
