On Monday, the High Court in Kerala rejected a petition filed by the state government, which tried to change the policewoman a probe with a fraud of microfinance fraud against the Secretary General of SNDP Yogam Vellappally NATESAN.
The government was looking for the replacement of S. Sasidharan, the Chief Police, Vigilance and the Anti -Corruption Office, and subsequently published another director of the Kieral Police Academy (KEPA), with Karthick K., representative of the General Inspector, VACB to lead a special investigation team in the case.
The court noted that Mr. Sasidharan has been investigating this case since 2024. He submitted a report on the current state of the probe. The report shows that it has submitted factual reports in various cases of investigated SITs under his leadership before the director of Vacb. He claimed that the spacecraft was now almost in its last phase and that he could complete the probe within three months.
The court felt that its continuation of the probe official was required to complete the probe over time. The government must issue orders entrusting the probe to Mr. Sasidharan, while the SIT would continue for this purpose and the probe must be completed within three months, she said.
