The Minister of Income Karnataka Krishna Gowda said on Friday that representatives of the Commissioners and Tahsildars in all districts were ordered to completely implement e-mail systems for cleaning files online.
The e-of-cottage software must be fully performed to ensure fully paperless offices to improve efficiency and transparency, and all departments must be cleaned digitally, the Minister added.
In an interview with reporters in Madikeri, the Minister said that the adoption of the e-mail will ensure the security of files and records and therefore cannot be lost. File disposal cannot be delayed with citing reasons such as postal delay, etc.; Records cannot be hidden, he added. He said that the adoption of the e-of-office must reach the level of accounting villages.
So far, 4,000 accountants (VA) have been given laptops to facilitate online services, and the remaining would soon get notebooks to speed up the services, the minister said.

Of the 8,500 VAS in the state, almost 2,000 VAS got offices and 5,000 others will get offices soon. In Kodag, 108 VAS received office space in 102 grams of Panchayat.
Mr. Byre Gowda said 1 lakh crore was credited to 4.5 crore accounts in the form of warranty programs. “This became possible because of the adoption of technology. The benefits were extended without the recipients coming to the offices. This implementation was an example for others. The initiative has now become a model,” he said.
Representative of the Commissioner of Kodag will prefer work in areas identified as “susceptible to landslides” for people’s safety, the Minister told reporters. Steps are carried out on the basis of a list of places identified to landslides, he said.
