At the engaging question and answer to the Hindu Education Plus session, the 2025 career consultancy, which took place on Vidyavardhak College of Engineering (VVCE) on Saturday, described the professor at the Mysore Medical College and Research Department, described his career in medicine as “admission”.
Dr. Manjunath, who drew from more than 30 years of field experience in the industry, except that he was a member of the National Medical Commission, plunged light on the reality of career in medicine and alternative systems such as Ayush.
“Medicine, be it allopathy or alternative systems like Ayush, is a recess resistant career,” Dr. Manjunath. “It offers unique stability – experts can work far for the normal age of retirement, making it a lifelong profession,” he said.
However, he quickly warned that the medicine was not a way for a weak heart. “If you do not have a real passion for this profession, you will not choose it,” he advised, saying it was also one of the most stressed careers.
When Dr. Manjunath asked about the preparation for medical entrance examinations, stressed that there was no abbreviation of success, and asked students to work hard and create a clear vision.
Dr. Manjunath, who was engaged in the growing trend of students who decided to study medicine abroad, emphasized the importance of monitoring the title of MBBS in India, given the type of exhibition doctors and MBBS students in the treatment of patients. In the answer to the next question of Dr. Manjunath noted the growing tendency of students to watch the title of MBBS abroad, but in some countries warn the predominant standards.
The interaction sessions raised a number of questions about AI, technical issues related to the quota for admission to engineering universities through CET, career options in finance and banking, benefits of double degree monitoring, UPSC testing, engineering courses, etc.
