
Captain Ajinkya Rahane said he would like to return to the Indian cricket team after a stellar campaign with the bat in the IPL 2025 season. Rahane, who was the vice president of the Indian test team at the same time, played for the National Party during West Indies in 2023.

After his debut in 2011, Rahane played 195 matches for India in all three formats and scored 8414 runs. Skipper KKR said it was someone who doesn’t give up and always puts everything on the pitch.
Rahane said he was enjoying cricket at the moment and wanted to keep it.
“I am a person who will never give up. I will always try to do maximum on the pitch and give more than 100 percent. So it’s always about focusing on controllable things at the moment.”
“I also played home cricket. At the moment I really enjoy cricket. I just want to keep it. But yes, fire and hungry is still there,” Rahane said.
