The video recorded by Uber’s cab driver in Delhi is viral on the X -Social Media platform, showing a dispute between him and three women’s passengers who allegedly refused to pay the fare after they asked to stop the middle, May 1, 2025.
According to the video, there was an incident when women asked the driver to stop the cab before reaching the target. When the driver asked for a payment for the distance that had already been traveled, a heated argument broke out. One of the women can be heard and said, “Cancel Kar Aur Nikal” (cancel the ride and get lost) because the driver insists on paying.
The driver who recorded the video was also heard that he was willing to drop them from anywhere. However, the situation continued to escalate when women accused drivers of talking disrespect, and claimed to have addressed them as “here” – which is often perceived as informal. The driver denied this claim.
The conversation is intensifying because women insist on paying fares only through the application and not directly to drivers. In response, the driver can hear and say, “Mujhe CNG App Bharkem Deg Kya?” (Will the application pay for my CNG?) – expressing frustration from potential losses if the ride is canceled.
Since then, the video has evoked an extensive X discussion, with users divided into incident. Many commentators have criticized the behavior of passengers, especially when it comes to refusing to pay for the services provided.
One user wrote: “They are not customers that are freelloaders.”
Another one added: “Using poor hardworking people.”
The third person commented: “You will soon see the possibility of paying cash from Uber and Oly. It’s only in India and see how it is abused.”
While the identity of the participants remains unknown, the video continues to circulate widely. No statement has so far been associated with the trip. The incident once again pointed out a comprehensive dynamics between driving drivers and passengers in Indian city centers.
