
Canada secured its place in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 after completing the distinctive seven goals over the Bahamas in the American qualifier in King City. As a result, the hosts recorded their fifth direct victory in the regional tournament to confirm the qualifications for the global showpiece, which will host India and Sri Lanka.

According to ICC, the remaining seven seats will be occupied via regional qualifications from Europe (July 5-11, 2025), two from Africa (September 19 October 2025) and three of the Asian-East Asia Pacific (October 1-17, 2025).
The Canadian return to the global scene continues their constant increase in the T20 cricket, which also performed in the American leg of the previous edition. With a well -rounded team and a number of command performances, they will try to make a strong impression in the 2026 tournament.
