On Saturday in honor of Indian soldiers during the Sindoor operation, a blood donation camp took place on Saturday.
Together organized by the District Administration, the Ministry of Health and Family Care, Mysur City Corporation (MCC) and various blood banks on the Mile initiative for Narasimharaja Tanveer Sait and the blood camp saw enthusiastic participation of population, merchants and citizens.
A large number of men and women voluntarily donated their blood.
This initiative was focused not only on strengthening the morale of the armed forces, but also on the manifestation of unity in the contribution of blood, which can be used to save patient lives.
When he talked to reporters, Mr. Sait said that several university students and youth staff voluntarily donated their blood within the camp.
The priests belonging to the different religions blessed the camp and the people belonging to all religions donated their blood for the matter, he said.
Mr. Sait expressed satisfaction at enthusiasm and donated blood and said that most blood donations usually see about 20 to 40 donors. In the camp, however, a total of 75 people were received to donate blood in one round.
On this occasion was also present deputy Commissioner Lakshmikanth Reddy, district medical officer Kumaraswamy, former mayor and exhibition office Karnataka (Kea) Ayub Khan.
“More than 500 blood units were collected during the blood donor,” said Dr. Kumaraswamy.
