The chief judge of the district district of Guntur and the chairman of the Legal Services Office in the district (DLSA) B. Sai Kalyan Chakravarthi stressed that every citizen must realize their legal rights and obligations after the new module of legal awareness on Saturday. The program was organized under the auspices of the National and State Legal Services (NALSA) authorities in coordination with the District Administration.
On this occasion, Mr. Chakravarthi said that the main goal of Nalse is to expand legal assistance to women, children, poor, victims of abuse of addictive substances and physically or mentally contested persons. He noted that the lack of awareness prevents many eligible recipients in access to programs, although free legal assistance and a quick settlement are available through Lok Adalats.
Another district judge R. Sharath Babu said that schemes like “Ujjwala” provide opportunities for SC communities and ST, while Judge Val Satyavati emphasized the need for greater public awareness. Police Superintendant (SP) S. Satish Babu outlined the importance of the victim’s compensation, rapid dispute resolution and legal support for different persons.
Minister DLSA Syed Ziyauddin stressed that social justice and equality are the core of the Nalsa mission and adds that free legal aid for weaker sections, schemes of poverty and assistance to SC, ST and communities with differently must be achieved to each eligible person. He explained to the recipients in detail the available schemes.
At the event, the financial assistance of 71 GBP Lakh was distributed to 108 recipients, while women received the authorickshaws and were differently provided by auditory aids, smartphones and wheelchairs.
Chairman of the Bar Association Y. Shiva Suryanarayana, Drda officials, panel advocates, Para-Legal volunteers and participated in a large number of the public.
