The former Indian cricket of Cambli’s health is still a matter of concern, and his younger brother Virendra Kambli reveals that a 52 -year -old man is still trying to speak properly, even though he is on his way to healing.
Kambli, who played 17 tests and 104 Odi for India, was admitted to the Akruti Hospital in Thane 21 December 2024 after suffering from urea infections and convulsions. Doctors later discovered clots in his brain, extends his stay in the hospital. He was finally released on January 1, 2025 and is now recovering in his Bandra residence.
According to his brother Virendra Kambli, he still has to fully regain his strength. “He’s at home now, but he’s still having trouble talking. We ask everyone to keep him in their prayers,” Virendra shared during the Vickey Lalwani Show.

“He subjected to rehabilitation for 10 days. He got the whole body control, including the brain scanning and urine test. The results were fine; there were not too many problems, but because he could not walk, he was recommended to undergo physiotherapy.
Kambli’s fragile state was already talking between fans and cricket brotherhood. A recent viral video, along with Sachin Tendulkar, for an event for their child coach Ramakant Achrekar, raised concerns, and many have noticed his visibly weak frame and declining health.
Former Bombai dough, once one of the brightest Indian young stars at the age of 90, lasts a difficult journey after retirement. In 2013, he spoke openly about the suffering of two heart attacks, along with prolonged battles with alcohol addiction and financial burden. Despite his struggle, several characters from the Indian cricket, including Sunil Gavascar and Kapil Dev, expanded their support, while Sachin Tendulkar has helped him quietly in the past.
