SUPER GIANTS RISHABH PANT Captain reacts when he leaves the field after his release. (PTI photos) New Delhi: As the Rishabh Pant’s campaign furious IPL 2025 continued with another low score, the former Indian opener Viender Sehwag offered Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) to regain some sincere advice.
Pant, who managed only 18 out of 17 balls in a steep 237-running persecution against Kings Kings (PBK) on Sunday, has now scored only 128 runs in 10 shifts this season for a worrying strike of 99.22. This is his worst IPL season since the debut in 2016 and comes after it was selected for a record RS 27 Crore at last year’s mega auction.

After a 37-run LSG loss at the HPCA-Found stadium, which leaves them in the necessary win to keep their remaining three league games in the playoffs, speaking on Cricbuzz, urging the pants to look inside.
Who is the IPL player?
“He should watch his launch, watch videos in which he scored the IPL running,” Sehwag said. “Watching gives you confidence – as you hit shots, built shifts. We saw two different Rishabh’s pants – before injury and then. Lost this dominance.”

Should Rishabh pant consider talking to Mrs. Dhoni for leadership?
Sehwag emphasized the importance of consistency in routine – a gentle but often overlooked aspect of the player’s success. “When there is a routine in routine, it will affect you. You start thinking only about launching and not your process. Do not include practice, gym, run or sleep. They are vital.”
But perhaps the most important part of the Sehwag proposal was mental and emotional: “Raise the phone, talk to someone. If you take into account your Dhoni’s pattern, call him. Sometimes there’s a lot of doubt. Leave it.”

Pant’s journey back into the mold can lie well not only in technology, but also in reflection, rediscovery – and conversation with someone who was there before. Whether he had taken Sehwag’s advice could shape both the IPL and LSG’s hope in the coming weeks.
