On Sunday, the forest department placed a cage for a tea room in Pachamala near Valparai to capture a leopard who killed a four -year -old girl on Friday.
The cage was located near a small forest patch in the tea room, about 700 meters from line houses of real estate workers, where the girl was attacked on Friday by a leopard around 18:30.
After the girl Mauling, Roshini Kumari of Jharkhand, Carnivore pulled her into tea shrubs and further into the neighboring forest spots, where the remains of her body were found on Saturday.
Devendra Kumar Meena, Deputy Director of the Pollachi Division, Anamalai Tiger Reserve, said that one or two cages could be placed in this area.
According to the Atrial Authorities, the girls’ parents moved to a tea tree in Pachamalai about 10 days ago after abandoning work in another property in Valparai.
Officer Pollachi Forest Range Sutesh Krishna said that near the line house of workers and forest patches was placed 20 pairs of traps on the camera to monitor the movement of the leopard.
On Sunday, Pollachi handed over the parents of the deceased to the parents of the deceased from the state government over 9.5 ₹ Lakh. On Saturday, the family was given immediate relief from 50,000 ₹.
