
The cabinet on Wednesday ordered Wayanad collectors to take immediate steps to issue a ror (entry of rights) for land identified for tribal families affected by the landslides of the Chorallala. There will be steps to grant Ror for 5 hectares.
Five families included in the Rehabilitation list of Mundakai of Punchirimattam Unnati and three families in the new village of UNNATI will be rehabilitated by building houses on the Wayanad project model. Five families in Erattukandam UNNATI, which are not currently included in the Rehabilitation list, will be included in the Mundakai list. They will be assigned 10 cents in the ground and house, the briefing cabinet said.

Compensation will be provided to entrepreneurs who have lost their living in the Chooralmal disaster. A similar compensation will be provided by the victims of the Villangad disaster in Kozhikode, as provided to the victims of the Chooralla disaster.
