
Minster N. Chandrababu Head on Wednesday will chair the cabinet meeting on the Secretariat in Amaravati.
The Andhra Pradesh cabinet approved a number of transformation initiatives in the field of social security from the National Hand Box Day, which significantly influenced women, weavers and owners of small businesses throughout the state.
These include free bus ride for women and possession of the Weaver and Nayee Brahmins (who are in Salon Services).
I & PR Minister of Kolus Partharathy, which concerned a press conference on the Secretariat on Wednesday, said there was a free system of traveling for women for women on August 15, as part of the “Stree Shakti” initiative, one of the government’s super six election promises.
“This program will allow more than 2.6 crore to women, girls and transgender individuals to travel without APSRTC buses, including the Velug, Express and Metro Express Services. Valid ID is required and services such as interstate, rented or packages.”

“The scheme will apply to 74% of the APSRTC fleet (about 6,700 buses), which will benefit nearly 27 Lakh commuting daily. It is expected that the annual cost of the treasury will reach 1,942 Crore.
Mr. Partharathy said that in a large strengthening of the traditional weaving sector, the cabinet approved a complex package of 648.59 GBP relief.
“The measures include free electricity (200 units for manual weaving conditions and 500 units for weaving conditions), 5% GST reimbursement and revival of the Savings Fund, where the government corresponds to 8% of the weaving savings. The cabinet also approved 150–200 units of free electricity for 40 808 hair cutting, AC and non-AC salons, thus imposing an estimated annual burden of CRORE 100 GBP for the state.
In other Cabinet decisions, he approved the formulation of social media policy and expanded the CPI ban (Maoist) and its associated organizations such as RYL, RSU, Sikasa and RDF to August 2026, under the Public Security Act.
