Congress MLA from Jukkal Thota Laxmi Kantha Rao said the party recognized the services of cadres and committee leaders by appointing them to important posts in the party and the government.
At a meeting in Pitlam on Friday, Mr. Laxmi Kantha Rao said that the appointment of Ale Mallikarjun as the president of the Kamareddy District Congress Committee was a “real recognition” of the grassroots cadre. He further assured that hardworking party members will be given proper positions in party committees, local body elections and nominated positions. Mr. Mallikarjun thanked the party high command and the state leadership for reposing faith in him and assigning him an important position.
Party workers and supporters of Ale Mallikarjun organized an impressive cycle rally from Narsing Rao Palli junction to Pitlam which showed massive participation and public enthusiasm. A large number of Congress workers from across the Jukkal constituency attended the function making the event a great success.
