As part of its continuing intervention against cyber crime within the “chakra-V” operation, the Central Office for Investigation (CBI) carried out air raids in three different places.
CBI seized crime continues in the form of virtual digital assets (VDA) worth £2.8 Crore, along with the inconvenience of cash £22 Lakh from holding a suspect.
One individual has been arrested in connection with the case and is submitted before a special CBI.
Importantly, CBI has developed internal expertise for manipulation and seizure of VDA in its technological strategy to combat computer crime. The agency also implemented systems for managing these digital assets in accordance with legal requirements and constantly detect and confiscated VDA in more operations, she said.
