
Five individuals allegedly associated with pharmaceutical leading companies, part of the interstate missile selling drugs operating in the Mahari and Telangana, were arrested by the Office against the narcotics of Telangana (ANB) and the Police of Nizamabad.
The arrested accused were identified as Amar Singh Dehmukh, Babu Rao Baswaraj Kavere alias Prasad Karders, Parameshwar, Shabbir and Laxman Goud, who were sent to the judiciary.
More than 30 kg alprazolam worth about 3 crore, £ 12 lakh cash and car, after raid on Surya Prabha Pharma Chem in Mahari, where the drug was produced.
The case developed in the reaching night of 15 and 16 May, when officials captured a supply of 2.5 kg of alprazolam transported to the village of Saloora.
The survey revealed that the accused had acquired licenses for the production of fertilizers, cosmetics and bio-stimulants, but illegally produced and supplied alprazolam to Toddy Theangana store.
Prime accused Destmukh was the owner of Surya Prabha Pharma Chem Industry in the district of Satara, Maharashtra. Although the company had a fertilizer license, it was used to produce forbidden drugs. The cherire was operated by Bio-Stimulant and found to be involved in the distribution network of drugs, while Goud bought an alprazolam and sold it to local toddy.
Another accused Vishwanath, who manages a company called Rashi Traders Pharma using a cosmetics license, remains freedom. Further investigation of the case is underway.
