B. Naveen Kumar, a professional from SAI Mitra Constructions, emerged the winner of the Hyderabad regional round of the 22nd edition of The Hindu Business Line Cerebration Corporate Quiz 2026. The regional finals were held on Sunday at the Institute of Public Enterprise (IPE), a leading B-school based in Shamirpet here.
After four very close rounds, Mr. Naveen Kumar bested five other finalists to win the top honor. The land regional finals featured the top six contestants from the Hyderabad region and was conducted by Quiz Master Venkatesh Srinivasan.
The 2026 edition of the championship takes place in a hybrid format. It started with virtual preliminary rounds, followed by regional finals in six cities, culminating in the National Finals scheduled for February 21. The winners of each regional round will compete for the national title. The remaining regional finals are scheduled to be held in Kochi, Bengaluru, Delhi and Mumbai between February 7 and February 21.
The purse includes ₹75,000 for the winner, ₹50,000 for the runner-up and ₹25,000 for the runner-up.
The Hindu BusinessLine Cerebration Corporate Quiz 2026 is presented by major partner JK Tyre, powered by IndianOil Corporation Ltd and organized in association with BSE and Central Bank of India.
