Bus driver booked for allegedly attempting to assault lawyer

The Ernakulam Central Police has booked an employee of a private bus for allegedly trying to assault a lawyer. The unidentified bus driver was booked based on a complaint filed by Bharath R., 25, a lawyer.

The alleged incident took place near the District Court on Park Avenue Road in the city when Mr. Bharath was questioning the bus driver for allegedly trying to hit the motorcycle he was riding earlier in the day.

The accused was charged with attempted murder, uttering obscene words in a public place, intimidation and reckless driving.
