
The Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building in the United Arab Emirates, lit up in tricolor to celebrate the success of the India Impact Summit in New Delhi.
The gesture highlights strengthening bilateral ties, including the UAE’s investment in Indian AI startups and joint initiatives under the 2022 Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement, with a target of $100 billion in annual trade by 2030.
The Embassy of India in the UAE shared a video of the iconic building cheering on India with a light show on the X Burj Khalifa illuminated in tricolor projections with the words ‘Future of AI’ and ‘Led by India’.

“The world’s tallest building celebrates the India AI Impact Summit 2026! The iconic Burj Khalifa shines brightly at the India AI Impact Summit 2026. A powerful symbol of the growing India-UAE partnership in technology, innovation and AI,” he wrote.

India AI Impact Summit 2026
The India AI Impact Summit 2026, which is being held at the Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi from February 16 to 21, is the first global summit on artificial intelligence to be held in the Global South. Previous AI summits have been in the United Kingdom (2023), South Korea (2024) and France (2025).
More than 110 countries, 30 international organizations, including about 20 HoS/HoG level participants, and about 45 ministers participated in the summit.
Held as part of India’s expanding digital policy framework, the summit was attended by global leaders, including French President Emmanuel Macron. Tech giants – Google, Microsoft and Nvidia have also announced significant investments in the Indian AI ecosystem.
At the summit, Prime Minister Narendra Modi presented the vision of MANAV (Moral and Ethical Systems, Accountable Governance, National Sovereignty, Accessible and Inclusive, Valid and Legitimate).

More about India’s AI Impact Summit
The Indian AI Impact Summit addressed the transformative potential of AI, in line with the national vision of “Sarvajana Hitaya, Sarvajana Sukhaya” (Welfare for All, Happiness for All) and the Global Principle of AI for Humanity.
This summit is part of an evolving international process aimed at strengthening global cooperation on governance, security and the impact of artificial intelligence on society.
The India AI Impact Summit 2026 is guided by three sutras or fundamental pillars – people, planet and progress. These sutras formulate the basic principles of global cooperation in the field of artificial intelligence.
They aim to promote human-centered AI that protects rights and ensures equitable benefits across societies, environmentally sustainable AI progress, and inclusive economic and technological progress.
Due to strong public interest, the India AI Impact Expo was extended by one day and ended on 21st February.
