The police took Anantapur into the custody of the construction worker in connection with the alleged murder of a 20 -year -old girl in the cuber.
The girl disappeared a few days earlier and was found on Saturday behind a private educational institution within the Kuder police limits.
According to the police, the girl came out with the accused day before her death. It is suspected that the construction worker attacked an empty bottle of beer and hit her head, leading to her death.
The incident provoked public outrage, while civil organizations represented Dharna in the city and demanded justice for a girl’s family. and stronger security measures for women.
Anantapur MLA Daggubati Venkateswara Prasad has expanded financial assistance 1 lakh per girl family. The party leaders gave assistance to the family. The MLA comforted family members by phone. He assured the family that the state government would support them and take steps to punish the culprits.
Meanwhile, the former YSRC MLA Anantha Venkatari Reddy went to the government for ignoring women’s security and diverting attention by targeting and arresting media staff.
