By clearing outstanding bills to various stakeholders by April 2025 and June and July 2025, the state government released the budget for PM Poshan, earlier the midday lunch program.
As per the meeting of the Education Department on 15 October, ₹ 28,43,76,000 has been sanctioned for expenses under cooking expenses for classes 9 and 10.
Separately, ₹25,64,91,000 has been sanctioned for expenditure on egg costs for Classes 1 to 8 up to April 2025 and June and July 2025.
