
The state budget of ₹ 3.32 crore is a plan linking Swarna Andhra with Viksit Bharat, observed by the chairman of the 20-point implementation of the Lanka Dinakar programme. Addressing a press conference at the Secretariat on Saturday (February 14), he said the budget balances development and welfare while boosting irrigation, industry and horticulture across the regions.
He highlighted the allocation of ₹8,365 crore under VB-G Ram G for rural asset generation with 40% state and 60% central share. The allocations include ₹28,000 crore for the Visakha Economic Board, ₹30,000 crore for the development of Rayalaseema as a horticulture hub, ₹6,000 crore for Amaravati and ₹6,105 crore for Phase I of the Polavaram project.
Mr. Dinakar said capital expenditure of ₹ 53,915 crore will support jobs and the fiscal deficit has come down to 3.84%.
