Jawan Border Security Force (BSF) was detained by Pakistani guardians after accidentally crossing the border of the pandjab and the conversations are between the two forces to ensure its release, officials said on Thursday (April 24, 2025).
Constable PK Singh of 182. Battalion was arrested on Wednesday (April 23, 2025) by Pakistani guardians across the Ferozepur border.
Jawan was in uniform and carried a service rifle. He accompanied the farmer as he moved forward to relax in the shade, and was detained by the guards.
Between the two forces there are meetings of the flag to ensure the release of BSF Jawan, the officials said.
They said that such incidents were not unusual and occurred in the past between the two parties.
The incident comes against the background of the terrorist attack of Pahalgam, when India hit measures against Pakistan for sponsoring terrorism.
