The lack of local reservations led to serious injustice for TELANGANY students in medical admission PG, head of leader Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) and former Minister of Health T. Harish Rao to say and demand that the chief Minister A. Revant Reddy take the necessary steps to ensure justice to students.
In an open letter addressed on Sunday the main minister Mr. Rao said that the indifference of the state government had the students of Telangany to seek admission to PG medical courses, especially in the seats of quotas, in seats.
He stated that there were 1,801 PG medical seats in Telangana, with 50% of which were under the cellular quota and the remaining 50% of the chairs, 450 were under the managerial quota. However, the non -fulference local quota in managerial seats allowed students to gain adoption at the cost of TELANGANY students.
In neighboring Andhra Pradesh, 85% of the seats for the administration of quotas went to local (AP) students and students of other countries gained only 15% of the chair. TELANGANY students would gain 382 seats and only 68 would go to non-locking students if the local quota is implemented.
Permission to continue medical acceptance of PG without local quota in managerial seats would give up 382 seats. He stated that the BRS government changed the admission rules in favor of TELANGANY students and 100% of the seats at the Faculty of Medicine established after the creation of the State 2. June 2014 was reserved for local students.
The BRS government decision has led to the TELANGANY students to receive another 520 MBBS seats, another 1,300 B-category seats with 85% of the local reservation-1,820 other seats with the foundation of 20 new medical faculties.
