The opposition of Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) intensified its protest against the sharp increase in the TGSRTC city buses. The leaders of the parties led by his working President KT Rama Rao traveled on Thursday on Bhavan buses on Bhavan buses from various places in the city to meet the CEO with demand.
In the memorandum, which was presented by Vice -President and MD from TGSRTC Y. Nagi Reddy on Thursday, Mr. Rama Rao demanded an immediate withdrawal of elevated tariffs. He called on the government of Congress to return a trip to the fare and say that Hyderabad was heavily burdened. He also wanted the government to solve the main problems of RTC and urgently fulfilled the promises provided to its employees.
Mr. Rama Rao, who claimed that a trip to city buses was a deliberate attempt by the Congress Government as part of his plan to privatize the Society for Public Transport, that the larger plan should monetize the assets of TGSRTC, especially land. He claimed that the government is actively trying to paralyze RTCs financially.
When the BRS leaders tried to know the status from government to corporation during their meeting with the MDC MD, the latter reported that 1,353 GBP Crore was taking place. The BRS leaders said the previous (BRS) government released Crore 9 246 GBP as Grant RTC.
Before the BRS leaders traveled to RTC (BUS BHAVAN) in RTC buses from various places who interact with passengers on a fare trip, a heavy police deployment in the party’s key leaders, including the MLA and others, prevented them, but prevented them later.
When he talked to the media, after meeting with RTC MD, Mr. Rama Rao questioned the justification for the trip and said that he welcomes free travel by bus for women, but the number of buses must be increased. RTC gathered double fare from men to compensate for free travel for women. It was cruel to provide free one hand service and raise the price of the ticket with the other, he noted. Harish Rao said that the government has increased the bus 5 times in the last 22 months.
Party leaders T. Harish Rao, Talasani Srinivas Yadav, T. Padma Rao Goud, P. Sabith Indra Reddy, KP Vivekanand, D. Sudheer Reddy and others traveled from various places to Bhavan bus, where only a few were arrested to meet MD.
