BRS leaders are staging a protest on the land allotted to the CM sibling’s company
HYDERABAD
BRS leaders KT Rama Rao, T. Harish Rao, T. Srinivas Yadav and P. Sabitha Indra Reddy, among others, staged a protest on Thursday at a plot allotted to Tesseract Advanced Systems, a company allegedly belonging to Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy’s brother, near Tukkuguda.
KTR alleged that the government had allotted land worth ₹250 crore to A. Kondala Reddy’s company for just ₹7 crore and demanded that all details of the deal be brought before the people. He was trying to find out whether the transfer of expensive government land to his family members for a lump sum was an abuse of power.
He further wanted clarity on the deal between Tesseract Advanced Systems and Innovation Ecosystem of Israel and questioned the silence of central agencies like ED, CBI and IT on the land deal. Mr. Rama Rao also wanted to know if the companies of Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy’s family members were entering the aerospace and defense sectors along with the CM’s siblings as these two sectors were purely controlled by the Centre.
