Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) criticized the President of the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) B. Malesh Kumar Goud for his comments that it was Andhra farmers who taught the agricultural community of Telangana.
“It is nothing but insulting the agricultural community in Telangana, which agriculture in its own style has been agriculture for ages for agriculture for agriculture for agriculture for agriculture, such as Congress’s statements clearly indicate that their psyche will be pleased by the ruler Andhr who opposed Telangan’s tooth and nail.”
Congress leaders seem to have forgotten the fact that they were in their own state – Telangana. It was unfortunate that those who knew nothing about Telangana agriculture have now become the rulers, Mr. Prashanth Reddy said and added that Telangana is known for the diversity of crops or diversity in agriculture by growing cereals, pulses, oils, commercial crops, metal and others against Paddy in Andhra.
The BRS leaders reminded the TPCC chief that the Deccan region had the history of lifting up to thousands of years ago. His comments were grossly insulting to the farmers of Telangan, who are in a way and demanded Mr. Malesh Goud to publish an unconditional apology not only for the agricultural community in Telangana but of the whole society.
