After several firs were filed against the Zateen Garg manager, Siddharth Sarma, “Ya Ali” the singer came to his defense and said he was always a “brother in Zateen”.
In a video message shared by Zateen’s official Instagram, his wife, Garima Saikia Garg, asked fans to “postpone the negative feelings” of Siddharth during the last ceremony of the singer and allow him to be part of it. Many times she also shared Sarma by their side like a rock.
Zateen Garg died in a tragic diving accident in Singapore 19 September. He was 52 years old.
Here’s what she said:
Garima addressed fans with folded hands and asked for peace during the last trip of her late husband.
She responded to FIRS against Siddharth and said, “Siddharth, who has been like his brother from the beginning, will come.”
“You all remember that in 2020, when Zateen had this serious seizure, we had to take him to the bomb for further treatment. During the lock, when everything was closed, Siddharth made sure we had food and supplies, and even brought the Zubeen back from the bus.
“I ask you to allow Siddharth to be part of Zateen’s last trip,” Garima asked the fans. “Please, I invite everyone to postpone any negative feelings about Siddharth. Tomorrow I will need my people around me and need Siddharth’s support-and I will not be able to do everything.”
