The man allegedly attacked his younger brother to death in Chirayinkeezh in the incident that occurred at the end of Thursday.
The deceased was identified as Ratheesh, 31, from Kuzhiyam Colony in Perunguzhi. The incident occurred around 21:30 Ratheesh’s older brother, Mahesh, 42, was arrested in this case.
According to the police, the verbal quarrel escalated while the duo consumed alcohol, which led to violent confrontation. During his collision, Ratheesh suffered a deep cut on his neck. Although he was hurried to the Chirayinkeezh Hospital, he succumbed to his injuries.
