Brooke Hogan and Steven Oleksy moved from Michigan to Florida in the deliberate effort to be closer to Hulk Hogan when his health began to decline. Oleksy has just left the NHL and a few hoped that the proximity would support healing.“She was there for every operation leading to the last two years,” Oleksy told people. “She flew down to her own dime, took care of her father, and just made a lot of sense. No one understood his body, procedures, medicines, and everything else more than my wife.”But the proximity did not last. Over time, Hulk began to download. Brooke broke his silence after his death by an sincere Instagram post, revealing their alienation was not the result of one struggle, but “a number of private phone calls that no one will ever hear, know or understand.”When Brooke gave birth to the twins Oliver Andrew and Molly Gene in January, Oleksy reached out. “I sent text messages again to be where he was, but there was no interest,” he said. Even Brooke’s brother Nick once offered to bring Hulka to his house, but it never happened.

The emotional weight of Hulka’s absence after his death grew heavier. Brooke admitted that she had read some texts exchanged between her father and her husband. “Some replied, others ignored … but everyone broke my heart,” she wrote.“I know I did everything I could in my heart,” she continued. “He knew I was going through a burning building for him. And in many ways I did it.”As for the Late Wrestler estate, the news suggests that Brooke will not receive a share of the choice. Oleksy confirmed that Brooke wanted to follow the best interests of her father, despite their complicated past. “This money is not a success in the ring – most of them came to the detriment of my wife’s dignity,” he said (through page six) and refers to the pain caused by the previous public disputes Hulka. Also read: Florida Honors Hulk Hogan with a national tribute when Ron Desantis lowers flags for a wrestling legendAlthough they could never come to terms, Brooke says he will find peace knowing that she has tried to protect everything and support her father.
