The British Foreign Minister Priti Patel on Wednesday stressed the right of India to take “reasonable and adequate” steps to defense and dismantle “disgusting terrorist infrastructure” that caused death and continues to threaten Indian security.
Patel spoke during the debate in the Chamber of Deputies on Wednesday after India started the Sindoor operation, hit nine terrorist goals in Pakistan and Pakistan occupied Kashmir (POK) for retaliation for an attack on April 22, killed by 26 people in Jammu and Kashmir Pahalgam District.

The British-Indian deputy said that due to the long history of violence caused by the terrorist in India, the United Kingdom has a long-term agreement on security cooperation with the former.
“Terrorists based in Pakistan threaten India and Western interests-it has a country in which Osama bin Laden hid-and since terrorists in India have caused a long history of violence, the United Kingdom with India introduced long-term security cooperation agreements,” she said.
She continued on whether Britain could offer concrete support that could help avert the escalation and also asked to assess the government who carried out a terrorist attack in Kashmir on April 22.
“I can confirm that I have extended the discussion with my Pakistani counterparts about terrorist threats in Pakistan and the efforts to be made to deal with it. This is a terrorist threat that affects Pakistan itself, which has suffered significant terrorist attacks in recent months.”

The Indian deputy Jas athwal approached Commons for a personal remark and stressed that his parents were born in Pakistan. “I only know too well that no nation will take a step backwards, so what the minister can do to make me and my inhabitants in the south of ilford in the south to do everything we can to bring both superpowers to the negotiating table to restore the peace of this unstable part of the world,” he asked.
British parliament debate on India-Pakistan conflict
The terrorist attack and Operation Pahalgam and Sindoor Operations were discussed in detail in the British Parliament, with members of the United Kingdom to help de-schooling in the region.
On Wednesday, the Minister of Foreign Falconer began a debate in the Chamber of Deputies with a statement that repeated the earlier notes of Prime Minister Keir Starmer on the importance of diplomacy and dialogue, the PTI report said.
He also expressed concerns related to the very “personal” aspect of the conflict for a large number of British Indians and British Pakistani in the country.
“Our consistent message to India and Pakistan was to prove restrictions. They must engage in the dialog to find a quick diplomatic path forward,” Falconer said.
“Great Britain has a narrow and unique relationship with both countries. It is heartbreaking when civilian lives are lost. If it continues to escalate, no one wins. We clearly condemned a terrorist attack last month,” he said.
“Now we need all parties to focus on the steps needed to restore regional stability and ensuring the protection of civilians,” Falconer said.
Many British Members of Pakistani descent also hit to condemn “massive escalation” and the real threat of war between the two nuclear powers, PTI said.
