British firm DSP opens GCC in Bengaluru to deliver innovative solutions for global clients

DSP, a UK-based enterprise database management company, has marked its entry into India by launching its first overseas Global Capability Center (GCC) in Bengaluru. DSP India Center will host GoodWorks GCC Nexus at Prestige Tech Park in Bengaluru.
Inaugurating the plant, Paul Cocks, Group Chief Operating Officer, DSP, said that Bengaluru is a significant milestone in the company’s global growth journey.

KT Rajan, Cluster Director, Technology, Innovation, Education and Skills at the UK Deputy High Commission, said: “Using collaboration and strategic initiatives, the UK-India Corridor is creating sustainable opportunities that strengthen global leadership and have a lasting impact on citizens, businesses and future generations.”
Speaking on the occasion, Sanjeev Kumar Gupta, CEO, Karnataka Digital Economy Mission (KDEM), said, “We are home to over 1,000 GCCs employing over 660,000 professionals – 40% of India’s GCC workforce – supported by 110 million sq-0AAI of infrastructure and nearly 0,060 0ML0AAI professionals representing 50% of AI talent in the country, but apart from these numbers, today Karnataka is no longer a price arbitrage target, it is a global innovation hub.
