On Wednesday, the Keral High Court asked the Travancore Devaswom Board (TDB) to return the golden leaves to the idols of the Dwarapalaka in the entrance to the Sabarimal Ayyapp temple, which was transported to the Chennai facility for restoration.
The Devaswom Bench criticized the Council and noted that it was inappropriate to remove the boards without prior consent. The launch that there is enough time to ask for permission in advance, the bench of justice Rajaraghavan V and the judiciary of KV Jayakumar ordered the board to submit a report on Friday.
The court stated that the gold plating of idols was carried out in 2019 with a 40 -year warranty. “If this is the case, we will not understand the justification that is behind the same boards to re -into the same concerns in 2025, after only six years.
TDB previously stated that golden copper leaves were transported to a facility based in Chennai to restore with the consent of the temple of Tantri and the Board of Directors. This was after the special commissioner informed the High Court in Kerala that the leaves on the idols of Dwarapalak at the entrance to the temple were separated without the consent of the court.
He pointed out that such work was usually carried out in the temple and only after the explicit consent of the court. His report quoted the need for strict directives for the Board of Directors so that it would not carry out any main maintenance in Sannidhanam or MalikapPuram without any permission.
The Board of Directors said that golden leaves were transferred in a safe vehicle under the supervision of Commissioner Thiruvabharanam, administrative official Sabarimala, executive official assistant, Temple Smith and Vigilance.
President TDB PS PS Prashanth claimed that controversy was supported by the interests of discrediting global Ayyapp Sangamamu Board.
