
Following Turkey’s support in Pakistan, during a recent military conflict with India, traders, customers and companies, they called on a wide range of Turkish products to boycott.
From ground air and fruit, to brands of chocolate and clothing, here is a list of Turkish products and services that Indians boycott as a result of Istanbul’s support for Pakistan during the recent stand-off with India.
Airline
The first official blow to Turkey came when the Civil Aviation Security Authority (BCAS) on May 15 canceled the security clearance for the Green and Celebi terrestrial services. After the decision, most of the nine airports with whom Celebi worked with, reduced links with the company.
Air India asked the Ministry of Civil Aviation to stop the rival of Indiga’s leasing with Turkish airlines, quoted business impacts and security concerns, Reuters reported. Since 2023, Indigo has an agreement with Turkish airlines that has provided two pilots and some indigo crew to work on the new delho and Bombai routes.

Travel
Makemytrip said on Wednesday that flight reservations to Turkey and Azerbaijan have fallen by 60 percent and an increase to 250 percent.
Together with Turkey Azerbaijan, Pakistan also supported Pakistan during the conflict with India.
“Indian travelers have expressed strong feelings over the last week, while Azerbaijan and Türkiy’s reservations have fallen by 60 percent, while the cancellation increased by 250 percent over the same period,” Makemythrip spokesman said.
Chocolate, cosmetics and other goods

Clothing

Fruits based in prayer also decided to boycott Turkish apples together. Previously, Himachal Pradesh farmers also demanded a ban on Turkish imports of apples, and urged the central government to impose up to 100 % duty.

Education
Universities and universities throughout India have also reduced their ties and stopped student exchange programs with Turkey, moving to the boycott of the country. The best universities, including Iit Bombay, JNU and Jamia million Islamia, as well as private universities, Maulan Azad National Urdu University, Chandigarh University and Lovely Professional University, interrupted all ties with Turkey or suspended them.
