Boy jumps from school building in East Godavari, dies

A 13-year-old student of Kumaradevam village in Kovvur mandal allegedly ended his life by jumping from the building of a private school in Kapavaram village of East Godavari district, police said on Monday, saying he was a Class 7 student.

According to the Kovvuru police, the reason for the extreme step has not yet been determined.

The post-mortem was conducted at Kovvur Government Hospital. The police have registered a case and investigation is underway.
