Bondada forms an arm that focuses on optical infrastructure networks
Bondada Engineering has created a subsidiary company, PhotonicGrid Networks, to build, own, operate and maintain fiber optic infrastructure networks and related telecommunications infrastructure in the country.
The proposed network infrastructure will include multi-path fiber optic cable networks, dark fiber infrastructure and pipelines, data transmission systems, secure special purpose networks, data center interconnects, AI data center interconnects and other digital infrastructure solutions.
Bondada intends to offer network infrastructure and related managed services under long-term contractual arrangements to customers including hyperscalers, AI companies, neocloud operators, data center operators, telecommunications service providers and large enterprises, subject to applicable regulatory approvals and business arrangements.
The proposed business is in line with the rapidly growing demand for high-capacity and reliable digital connectivity driven by data centers, cloud computing, artificial intelligence infrastructure, 5G/next-generation networks and India’s broader digital infrastructure expansion.
The group’s existing telecommunications engineering and implementation capabilities are expected to provide PhotonicGrid with an important execution advantage, allowing the subsidiary to leverage its own capabilities for network development and deployment, Bondada said.
