BJP MP Basavaraj Bommai asked bankers to provide suitable instructions with regard to finance together with the provision of loans to industrialists operating micro and the middle industry.
On Thursday, he chaired the District Counseling Committee (DCC) and the District Committee on Level Review (DLRC) of the main bank in Gadag, Mr. Bommai said that bankers played an important role in the economic and social development of the district.
“If bankers fulfill their obligations with access to people, the district will develop at a faster pace. If there are any problems with providing financial assistance to industrialists, bankers should discuss matters with the district administration and various departments to solve them,” he said.
Given that Gadag is mainly an agrarian district, there should be no delay in providing loans for agriculture, Bommai said.
Mr. Bommai, who is the former main minister, said that because there is a large range of food processing in the district, officials should be programs after consultation with various other departments.
Gadag CEO Zilla Panchayat Bharath S. asked the banker to immediately with the district administration to immediately raise any problem of paying loans in terms of government schemes.
The head manager of Santosh MV said that out of the 182 branches of the Chief Bank in the district, the reserve ratio at the end of June 2025 98.16% and the bankers were asked to improve the ratio.
He said that 85,461.97 Lakh was dedicated to the annual credit plan by the end of June to June and strengthened to the melody of 1 28 065.08 Lakh.
During the meeting, the progress of various state and centrally sponsored programs was reviewed and a manual of the annual action plan and a district credit plan was published.
