The Bombay High Court ordered six allegedly the slander videos of two YouTubers who are also journalists, focusing on the Minister of Water Resources Maharashtra and the head of BJP leader Girish Mahajan.
Restrictions of journalists, Anil Thatte and Shyam Giri, from publishing or circulation of similar content on their channels on YouTube – “Anil Gaganbhedi Thatte” and “MUDDA BHARAT KA” – the only bench judge, judge Arif Arif Monday.
The judge noted: “I found out that the reason for granting temporary AD relief was made. It will be a temporary order for a prayer provision until the next date.”
The leader of the advocate Ravi Kadam representing Mr. Mahajan said that six videos were recorded 1st, 8 and 14, 14, 2025, which makes false, ruthless and slander declaration against the BJP leader.
Mr. Kadam argued: “These video clips have not only gained several views, but were also widely distributed to the public in general. There are currently six such offensive videos, five of which were recorded on the defendant channel on YouTube No. 2 (Mr. Gidda Bridri).
The court ordered the YouTubers to immediately delete six videos and order Mr. Mahajan to deliver a copy of the Order on Google LLC to ensure compliance with the order. The bench published a matter of 20 June.
