Former Captain India and coach Anil Kumble believes that the Indians from Bombai (Mi) must win both of their remaining league matches to ensure the qualifications for the Play -OPP IPL 2025 without relying on further results. Kumble, when he talked about the Soutarre after a dramatic defeat on the last ball at Gujarat Titans (GT), stressed the fine margins when the tournament is coming to its business end.

GT jumped six matches of the winning lane in the thriller with rain in Wankhede and won victory with three goals from the last ball under the DLS method. The result significantly deepened the chances of completing in the first two, the position that offers another shot to achieve the final.
