The security forces performed an extensive operation at Thiruvananthapuram International Airport after receiving another bomb threat on Tuesday evening.
The threat, which appeared before the planned visit to the city of Narendra Modi, caused increased security measures at the airport. The e-mail allegedly requires liability from “Hizbul myhideen”, he said that the bombs were planted in the toilet and at the output point of the airport set within 24 hours.
After a thorough search, the authorities confirmed that the threat was fraud. However, security checks will continue in the next two days, sources said.
