The TELANGANA Transport Department issued a government order on Wednesday, which orders that vehicles registered within 1 April 2019 were equipped with high -security boards (HSRP) by September 30, 2025.
This step is in accordance with the Supreme Court’s orders and, according to the instructions listed on the road, the owners of vehicles were directed to book HSRP assembly for their vehicles at www.siam.in. Once they are on the website, vehicle owners are obliged to click on “HSRP”, enter the owner’s details, select a vehicle manufacturer to be directed to an authorized supplier.
The Ministry said that imitations, including those that have holograms or “ind” designations that are not officially certified, will not be considered valid and must be replaced.
In order to avoid rush or fines at the last minute, the owners of vehicles were recommended to act quickly. Prices for HSRPs were determined depending on the type of vehicle, and two wheels are expected to pay between 320 and 380 GBP and a quad bike between 590 and 700 GBP. The state government ordered sellers and manufacturers to ensure smooth and transparent implementation.
Manufacturers and showrooms of original equipment will have to prominently display official prices and service staff must upload details of assembly, including photos, on the HSRP portal. The system also sends the owner of the SMS in real time to the owner of the vehicle regarding the status of their order and equipment.
