Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) Conductor and Marshal working with Bengaluru Solid Waste Management Ltd. (BSWML) were among those who qualified in the Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET-2025) for the post of Assistant Professor.
Jayamma, conductor, BMTC, and KB Aravind, marshal, BSWML, screened KSET in Kannada and the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) distributed the certificate on Saturday.
Mr. Aravind hails from Huliyurdurga in Tumakuru district while Ms. Jayamma hails from Bengaluru.
Ms. Jayamma said, “I got the job of conductor in the exam conducted by KEA earlier and now I am cleared for KSET. It’s all because of the transparency that KEA maintains in conducting the exams. I hope to be appointed as an associate professor soon.”
He shared his experience, said Mr. Aravind. “When I finished my post graduation in Kannada, I started preparing for KSET while working as a marshal. It is my dream to become a college professor.”
KEA conducted the KSET-2025 written test on November 2 this year and announced the results on November 15. It also started the process of verifying documents and issuing certificates from Saturday.
