On Monday, the President of the Bharatiya Mazdor Sangh-Vizianagaram N. Appal Raju called on the government to establish a state insurance company in the Pusapatirega industrial corridor in the Vizianagam district to allow more than 35,000 workers to use medical facilities. Shared that currently workers were forced to travel to Pydibhimavaram Dispensary in the SRIKAKULM district to use medical treatment
In a press release, Mr. Appala Raju said that the establishment of ESIC dispensors with a full -fledged medical team would benefit employees of more than 20 companies such as HBL Power Systems, Matrix Laboratories, SMS Pharmaceuticals Limited, Vizianagarama Biotech, Veda Biotech and others.
He said, “We recently presented a memorandum to a member of the Esic S. Dorai Raja, who asked for the establishment of a pharmacy near a matrix junction so that all workers could easily use the healthcare facility. ”
“Currently, workers must obtain permission from the ESIC authorities in Malkapuram Visakhapatnam. This causes delay in receiving injured patients immediately to private hospitals.” He added.
